*** VRP's Ported S/C ***
Our first prototype ported and reworked S/C for 55 Kompressor cars is complete. I have been working on this project for many months trying different combinations of changes to improve airflow and efficiency.
This S/C will be reassembled and is being installed on one of our project cars for some testing.
Here are some sneak peeks at some of the areas that were improved.. There are some things I wont go into detail on because it is proprietary information.
We will be doing some thermal testing as well as power output testing. We will measure thermal loads at different points on the engine before and after so we can measure the level of efficiency increase. As well, a good old dyno pull before and after to see how many more ponies we can unleash on a Heads & Cams car..
Stay tuned!!!

Vadim,
If it is not to early to ask; How will this service be offered to the customer? Will we pull our SC off and send it in for porting? If so, Any estimates on turn around time? Any plans to have a larger VRP throttle body (90mm plus) to go with heads/cam and SC porting?

Had great results doing this to my ford lightning. Gained 1.5 psi from the porting. That motor uses a eaton (nick name heaton) roots style blower. Very inefficient out of the box. Gains from the twin screw will be ahrd to come by.

A friend of mine sent his 55 blower to http://www.stiegemeier.com/home.html and he was very impressed with the stock 55k blower. It was his opinion that porting on our blowers was good for maybe 10-15 horsepower. He is a very nice guy to talk to and seemed very honest so my buddy decided to do it anyway. He never got a chance to dyno to confirm any gains. Hopefully we will see some results soon.
