Stage 1 vs Stock

Stage 1 = Pulley & ECU Tune.......

Times and speeds are relative but I went from just over 13 seconds to just over 12.5, so half a second. My 60 did not improve but my trap went from consistent 116mph to 122mph. The car did very well up until the 1/8th mie where it would fall on its face. Later, cooling, and openning the intake and exhaust took care of some of it....

I believe he cut a 1.7 60 (it was his first time in the car and once again, it was on street tires).Oh yeah - my trap speeds were 114 with the 12.8 and Clayton's was 112 - almost 113 with the 12.2.
I'm personally staying with the stock pulley but adding Kleeman headers and race cats.
Hope the info helps
My best time stock was a 12.11 @ 116 MPH.
My average time stock hot-lapping was ~ 12.25 - 12.30 @ 114-115 MPH
My best time with 180mm and tune was 11.98 @ 116 MPH.
My average time with 180mm and tune hot lapping was 12.05 - 12.10 @ 116 MPH.
Outside temperature was ~70 to 85 degrees depending on the day.
All of the gains are in the first 1/8th mile, and then the car actually runs the same or slower the last 1/8th. On the street it is an awesome combination, but without cold weather it doesn't really perform at the track.

It will be in AZ during the summer (so 115) so I expect the dyno numbers to be lower but I'll still post them here.
Like most of you I don't got to 100 MPH often, so my upgrades are more for fun on the street during my commute. (0-75MPH lanches, that sort of thing.)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I remember MikesAMG picked up a lot of ET and trap after stage 1 and drag radials. At the time, I think he was the quickest/fastest Stage 1 in the west coast.
180,H/E,tune 12.65 at 116
stock pulley and tune/HE 12.2@117.30
Iv added kleemann headers with cat delete and will hit the track soon.I should break 119mph on stock boost and then Im adding a 168 or 172 and fianlly be done with the car
172 pulley and LET Shelf Tune - 11.55 at 120.9mph (drag radials)
Unfortunately my runs were done on different tires so not a true comparison. But the difference in mph is evidence of the power gain
Those are awesome times and MPH. What were the conditions(mainly temperature) those days, and what did you do to prepare for the passes(cooldown, ice, etc..)?
Seems like the posted results dont get much faster with more boost. I would have thought you would pick up at least 3-4 mph with any pulley.
I thought so too, but during the Summer it's not going to happen. I've ben fortunate enough to have a couple of 55-60 degree mornings since I got the pulley, and it's like the car picked up 50hp. I can guarantee that when the temperature is in the 40's and 50's we'll see that 3-4 mph easy. I'm planning on going to the track in October to test this, but there is a huge SOTP difference as temperature changes.

That is GREAT MAN!! I cannot believe that, we should all be so lucky to have a son so bright. Id say if he graduates you give him the car? HAHAHAHAHA

I have run higher traps with slow 1/4 times, and slower 60ft. I consistency run 11.9s with no problem at all, cold. hot, first run, last run...so on...

You're too kind.
Seeing how you kicked my butt in golf today, what do I owe you?
