Very cool mods BTW
The iPhone integration is possible because I have a UHI (Universal Handset Interface) option installed. I just swap out different cradles for different cars. Regarding the cost, you'll have to check with MBenzNL.

Since it's just a cradle it will work with any phone Mercedes makes a cradle for. However, the new iPhone 3G cradle is nice because it also has bluetooth incorporated in it so I can pair anyone with the system via bluetooth too.

Can you post the fire extinguisher part number ? Also if I have the gray colored wood is there a piece available for around the shifter in that color - do you have the part number.

Your car looks great!

Thanks for the comments.

I do not know the fire extinguisher part number. Actually I don't think you can order it if you are in the US. I have tried and I couldn't get it. I got mine installed through MBenzNL. Try contacting him.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by the gray colored wood. I thought that there were only two kinds of wood: birdseye maple (which is what I have) and burl wood.

You can also contact MBenzNL for the shifter surround too.

Just got these license plates that I won from the AMG Private Lounge board.

Now I need a new trunklid insert so that it will fit. Not sure yet how I'm going to mount the front one.

Any suggestions?

Just put these guys in over the weekend:

t-bone's 2004 W211 E55 mods (56k beware)-img_1618.jpg

t-bone's 2004 W211 E55 mods (56k beware)-amgdoorpin.jpg
Official AMG doorpins t-bone installed Part number: A 000 766 02 28

I've been waiting for AMG to make some and they finally did so I ordered four of them. The part number above gets you only one. Cost was around $50 for one. They screw in and you can adjust the height by choosing how far to screw them in.

I think the 3G cradle was around $200. I don't really remember.

Here's a new photo of my car with my newest set of wheels. I've been wanting these wheels for quite some time and finally got them. I think this is the set I'll stick with for a long time.

Heated rear seats first.

And if possible an upgraded COMAND.

Then I'll think about the larger rotors.

It didn't look too difficult to install. However, the CLS cluster cannot have too many miles on it for it to be swapped in. I think the cluster used for my car was brand new.

Since I can't seem to edit my original first post, I'm adding this post so that the pictures of the illuminated door sills and Renntech spoiler show up.

Original AMG illuminated door sills dealership installed, but MBenzNL cleaned up their install since they didn't do the wiring very well
I bought them from someone who had bought them from MBenzNL who got them from AMG. They are actual AMG parts and not aftermarket.

Renntech spoiler dealership installed
I bought this almost immediately after I bought the car.

I may have to do some of those added options. I love that cluster.
