Had my MB service buddy install the ASP pulley set today.
Definitely quality products as commented by the installer here in SoCal.

Finally got a picture of the steel carter plate since I had the car up on a lift.
Steel carter plate MB Service installed
I bought it from MBenzNL, but had my MB Service buddy install it who was able to put it in easily. This was done quite a while ago. It is heavy, but provides the protection I want.

Nah. I still got the main Renntech pulley. I just installed the tensioner and idler pulleys that I bought from ASP a while back. It's a good deal. The pulleys are very well made.
Definitely without a doubt, better than the plastic one. I didn't want to take any chances for the future after seeing some pics of busted pulleys and reading this thread:

Got this put on this past weekend:
I wanted the matte carbon fiber look so I went with this new diffuser.
My old one is now for sale. It was the clearcoated one. Please PM me if interested. I will ship anywhere. It has a few small cracks since it's been on the car for about six years now.

Just received the CLEAN BAG.
It snaps into the net on the side of the passenger seat. It's basically a trash can. A plastic bag fits very nicely inside to hold anything people want to throw away.

The new diffuser I have is just the OEM plastic piece wrapped with the 3M DI-NOC carbon fiber film. Took a few hours to do. Sanding down the texture took the longest. Applying the film wasn't too difficult.
It's been holding up well so far.
My old one which is shown earlier in the thread is real carbon fiber. However, that has recently been sold.
