Please folks. If someone is asking about replacing the side marker lamp housing with the clear ones, let's not lobby for the euro bumper strips, instead. If you live in California, where pollution testing means more than adherance to DOT safety regulations, that's fine for you. But for the remaining 49 states, side marker lamps are a federal and state requirement. Going the Euro strips is NOT an option, legally, nor is it legal to paint over the existing lenses. So it's pointless to confuse the issue with options most people can't have (or don't want). Let's please stick to answering the question.
As for the subject, please do a search for "Clear side Markers" on this forum. The procedure is in the sticky at the top of this forum. There must be dozens of threads here already on this topic. I bought these from autodynamics.com. Here's the link to a thread on these, after two years, my guess is they have perfected the fit by now.

Does anyone know how to install these? I can easily take off the bottom cover under the bumper and do it but I was wondering if there was an easier way from maybe just popping the hood

Just use a small flat and and place it under the side marker and push it up. If you look at the ones your installing they have a bracket on either end, one end slides in to hold it in place and ther other end you use the flat head driver to push in and it'll pop out. You dont have to remove anything its like a 5 minute job.
