Kevwood's mods - The Mountain of Goodies
Well, I've waited since July for this, I have everything in my hands minus my instrument cluster (back-ordered from MB). This was a 3 part effort;
1. A huge thanks to my best mate Joe in Canada for buying everything on my shopping list and getting it packed into my container to be moved to Dubai anlong with my items that have been stored for 4 years.
2. Another huge thanks to Wes for buying everything on a second shopping list, packing it up and having it moved to me in Dubai via UPS.
3. Yet another huge thanks to Andre of MSW Dubai for sourcing the H&R parts and having the premier shop in Dubai where I am going to have most my work done.
Here it is gents, the Mountain of Goodies (well, 8 seater table full at least), round one;
The installs start on Sunday at MSW; springs, sways, brakes and wheels.
Thanks to everyone on this board who helped me source out the various parts and those who gave advice and reviews on other items.
Stay tuned...
*Edit*
Bugger, I forgot these;

My favorites: AMS headers and the R1 Concept rotors.
Are you going with Akebono pads?

I've been excited for months and months, now I actually feel a bit relaxed knowing that everything is here.
The headers are quite nice, the rotors are monsters! Yeah, the Akebono pads/boxes are on either side of the AMS pulley/sprint booster.
It looks even better in person, and yeah, thanks, the wheels are better than I expected.

Cheers. This is round one, my third round is going to appeal to you a little more...
lol, none whatsoever, she thinks it looks awesome. I was really heavy into cars when we met, she's happy that I have my hobby back now.
What? Did Haifa just walk by???
Thanks dude and good listing, right on the money mate
Yes, good eye. I am going to have them installed along with the pulley, my third round of mods isn't going to like worn engine mounts too much

Carbon fiber lip
Akebono brake pads
Sprint booster
E55k airbox
Carbon fiber rear diffuser

Hell ya, I want this done quite quickly so I can enjoy it. I'm home so rarely that I really just want to be able to finish it up and relax.
Thats exactly the idea mate
Thanks, I really took a chance on the wheels and second guessed myself a lot over the last few months but now that they are here, I think they are going to work out really well with my black & chrome on white theme. Ya, lot's of work now but it should all be done within 2 weeks, I'm going to start putting things on tomorrow then it goes into the shop on Sunday.

let me know how you make out with those wheels and brakes. if they have similar clearance to my stamfords they're not gonna clear, mine clear the front factory 500 brakes hardly, i mean like less than 5 mm.

You and me both brother! Talk about a journey to get here eh???
The AMG wheels I have on my car right now clear the front rotors by about 2 or 3mm, I mean a sheet of paper clearance. I have 10mm spacers for the rear and can add the same to the front if need be, MSW (where I am having the work done) has them in stock now. Always there is also the option of putting 20mm on the rear and 10mm on the front if I want, we'll see how it all looks in the end.
I'll test fit a rim tomorrow and let you know how it is.
