Mercedes Me App in Canada - Questions/Experiences
I am picking up my new E400 Wagon in Canada tomorrow, so I went to download the Mercedes Me App on my iPhone ... only to see its not available on the Canada iTunes store.
It was however available on the US iTunes store (I have a US Credit card for that) but am wondering if anyone has used a Mercedes app in Canada? There seems to be a lot of functionality built into the apps ....

as far as I know (i too am in canada...) the Mercedes Me app isn't available here. when it comes to customer experience (system/map updates, apps, etc...), we seem to have been relegated to 3rd class status compared to Europe and the US

You're not that third class. Mercedes me app hasn't worked for me for ages. Seems it's been down for a long time with no fix in sight judging by other UK forum posts. No idea what MBRACE is so it's obviously not a requirement in the UK and can't be precluding use in Canada.

Should be available on 208 cars.
Dealers says Mercedes Me (including Traffic) will become available for my 2018 E300 soon ... how soon is soon ... nobody knows.

Taking delivery of my 2018 E300 on friday here in Vancouver, the dealership told me that Mercedes Me is coming to Canada in the 4th quarter of 2017 or 1st quarter of 2018. No info on what features it will have compared to the US version though.

Has anyone managed to use the remote parking app on their E-class yet? I guess this is part of the Mercedes Me service feature.
Plus, the Remote Parking app says is not compatible with any of my Android phones, OS is up to date, don't know why, any idea?
Even I managed to download the Remote Parking app from 3rd party site, after install, there is no Canada or US option in the country list, only European countries.

I think your being fooled, the parking option is not available yet and my dealer has been promising that for almost a year. I should of never taken delivery without a demo on my car first. The dealer now blames Mercedes and are washing their hands.

Do you know if the car's hardware is capable to do so or it may need additional parts to support the remote parking pilot feature for the E class shipped to North America?
I downloaded the app from 3rd party site and installed, no problem. But It seems it requires you to have a Mercedes me account, which requires you having an Europe address and purchase the service to use it.
I guess it is not hard to buy an Europe SIM online, but to make sure it works at USA or Canada might be a challenge.

Mercedes Me delayed for Canada.
Dealer told me yesterday that Mercedes Me is delayed until third quarter of 2018 for Canada. Sigh ... they sure are slow ...
