GT/C192/R192: AMG Number 12!! Yes I got a GT63- Pics-Thoughts-Questions!

My fattest was the CL65 and was one of least fave AMG's

I was able to get the total amount of M5's (non touring non sold on the ground)...its at 194 nationwide. I know when the car came out they just sat and sat until dealer pricing came down and production slowed (I think release was 11/2024) and they already ceased all 2025 orders at the start of March and all new orders are now 2026's. Then econ 101 set in and with adjusted prices they moved nicely. The model year gap with adjusted pricing has been part of the pivot.
I still cant seem to wrap my arms around this car (no pun LOL). At 200 inches long I dont know. I think we did just fine with our GT's

NO rock chips but thats more dependent on your road quality or lack of it.
I usually run very aggressive spacer setups but if your own roads are rock(y) Id opt more inward. Here is my M3 CS on 15mm rears which is more aggressive than the GT with 18s (no rock issues)

Im never fully laden as well. I never really get over 155 so the 32 is legit for me.
Btw, forgot to post the obligatory photos. (You can see one of its garage mates in some of the photos)
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

It is one of my favorite cars ever- the sound the sound the sound!! But also having bit into the stereotype of Corvette crap interiors and overall build quality kept me at bay. But I took a flyer and grabbed it with decent deal - no test drive and it has yielded me smiles all over.
The whole driving dynamic is dialed and its not even that light at over 36XXlbs but the steering is light and has good feel, the suspension and springs with the mag ride keep the car planted really quite well, and the exhaust is an event all its own. I have had a 458 and this flat plane crank engine sounds even better to me. Its got grip for days and the car really moves if one likes to drive on the higher side of the rpm range; which I do. I cant even complain about the cabin which is really quite driver centric. Yes the info screen and system is a little lower quality but I bought it for the driving experience. Couple all this into the price and its one hell of a car.
The ZR1 is just another story- one I will not probably be telling at this time

I dont know if you saw my one post but I added a RaceChip piggy back to the GT63 and the car feels "more" proper now. The valve controller is coming since Benz limits the valve operation below 3500 or so rpms.
Its interesting that this car, albeit slower than others that Ive had and you have/had; still gives me sense of occasion and fun. Maybe its the sound??
Sadly my fastest car Ive ever owned out of the box was this piece of sh..t- crazy dumb speed but ehhh

I enjoy the GT63 for its grunt and luxury inside...
I enjoy the Z06 for its pure wail of an exhaust note and driving dynamics...
I enjoy the GTS because of its fantastic chassis engineering and excellent steering and RWD grip...
Id probably pic the Z06 based on smiles delivered after each drive.

Full disclosure it was a "sitter" so i took what l could.
And the dealer used his "stair step" money to lower the price. Thats not readily available to any dealer and definitely not to any customer. Its based on sales for that given month and they get applicable credits to other units to push sales.
Add in the 15k trunk and it was a great deal. As good as the car is; its not worth anything close to msrp IMHO. But its a very good car with the discounts or even "less" of one.

Some will want the pedigree of Benz and its interior quality vs the extreme sound and performance that the Z06 delivers. I dont find myself to be an interior freak so while I love the GT63 guts; its not a supreme deal breaker. But there is nothing like the flat plane crank Z06 wail along with the targeted steering and lighter weight chassis. Its a tough call but the driver in me leans C8Z.
