BURMESTER HIGH-END SUBWOOFER RATTLE
Has anybody had a similar issue?
If so, what was the diagnosis/resolution?
The subwoofer blew and was replaced, and something is still rattling like crazy -- volume is barely turned up here.
We pulled back the lining to try and find the source and were unsuccessful.

Great. The high-end Burnester was a must have option for me…
Was the rattle same before the speaker was replaced? It kind of sounds like another blown speaker…lol. May I ask how it sounded before all of these issues?

Zero distortion whatsoever -- highly recommend getting that option if you order a car.
My guess is that something was progressively loosened over the first 2,000 miles of use and the rattling became progressively worse.
Rattle was there prior to the speaker becoming inoperative which is why I brought the car in for diagnosing, only to find out that there was no more rattle because the speaker was blown.
Speaker was replaced, rattle was still there.

I am king of finding rattles etc. The best thing to do is get back there and start pushing, pulling etc on areas to find the rattle. I have pulled panels out of cars to find rattles. I am the destroyer of these things. I have a bag full of foam, rubber and felt I've used over the years to tame these beasts.

PTSS case with MBUSA opened.
Will advise on what the resolution ends up being.

Yeah, I added the High-End to my build.
I think the base 3D Burmester in my S Class sounds awesome. If I was getting another S Class, I would have optioned the 4D. Really looking forward to hearing it.
Hopefully they can fix that rattle. Just seems strange to happen so pronouncedly at low volumes. Does it rattle if you bang and/or prod the area? Maybe it’s some wire behind the speaker vibrating.
