Anyone running stock subs along with aftermarket?

Anyone running stock subs along with aftermarket?
I'm going to put a single 12 Eclipse Alum. in the trunk and power it with an undecided up but something 600watts, PPI 2600 looks like the winner at this point.
Anyways, I already have the high to low converter, going to tap that into the current sub and do it that way. Should I disconnect the sub and remove it completely or should I just leave it? It doen't sound bad at this point but it's just part of my nature to add at least a sub.
I have a w211 with the HK Logic 7 system. Going to keep everythiing else stock.

I'm not looking to replace anything, just adding a sub. I have a DEQ 9300 that I can dedicate just to the subs. It's been collecting dust for a very long time. It's an old unit but works like a charm. The system just lack a little bass, I'm happy with everything else for now.
