Hey I got a euro comand for my 03 w211 and I can play dvd and mp3, but you need to make the change in the eng. screen. That the same with motion it need to be taking off from the 10mph.

same here, I just installed the Euro Comand and want to have the drive in motion abled...ok so I did the serv+mute+hangup buttons all pressed at the same time for a minute and nothing...what the heck? Anybody get the Euro to work? How do you know what the software it comes with?

In case this is still current...

The problem is that everyone tries the wrong order of the keys to enter the hidden menu.

Correct sequence: # then * then < NOT * then # then <

sorry to dig an old thread, my system can play dvd while stationary. i can get into enginerring menu, but can't get the hidden menu.. have tried both * # < and # * <. held on for more than a min for both ways. From MOST: Headunit Command: HW 03yr/04wk SW 03yr/21wk.

So i can put video in motion, play Mp3 files etc,etc...... Via the Engineers Menu or sub Menu, with the one i have now i cannot pass the Engineers menu

Mp3 instant supported with his old early version. Keep 30/06 and get VIM enabled from someone like me via SDS. Much better choice!

Codes are kept a secret now by the manuf. and no there is no software based VIM available anymore. You need some hardware if you want to watch DVD while driving.

If the keys don't match anymore you're must likely SOL!!! That's why nobody should mess around in EM if he/she doesn't know crap about it.

2014 GL 350

What are some of the cool things we can do using the engineering mode or the sub menu from there? I have 2014 GL350.

I went into the engineering mode and went through all the menus and selections etc. The only thing I was comfortable enough to change was the digital clock. I was afraid of changing anything else and make the COMAND non operative.

I have been reading that some people are able to enable internet function using their Blackberry. I guess this is not possible via Iphones.

Basically, I am looking for things that can be enabled, opened etc. VIM seems to require a separate module now...
