upgrading timeport crade to V60 cradle

has anyone upgraded their startac or timeport cradle to the V60 cradle? How much did it cost? I called my dealer and they couldn't give me a price, I'm about to call a dealer in another city soon.
I know that mikbox makes a solution but I was wondering if anyone has done it through Mercedes.
Obviously, i'm interested in gettting th V60 bluetooth puck.
I know the argos has an all in one solution but I would like to take advantage of the cradle in the armrest and I don't want to spend 800 dollars if i can help it.
Thanks for reading,

David

I had the old Startac upgraded to a V60 last year on my 2000 S500, the process was rather simple. Took about an hour, the Phone itself was new, so was the cradel and sometihing called the linear compensator. The whole thing cost about $1500. It was done by Mr. Keith Valentine from Running Springs California. He drove a 100 miles to my house to do it and would recommend him highly.

His phone # is 909 867 6211 Cell:714 746 5930 he can certainly help you can give him a call he is really helpful

You'll need a cradle and maybe a new PSE (you need one that is V60 compatible, they have Blue part number labels). After that, plug in the Puck and you're done. Parts at true MSRP will run about $500 to $1000 depending on if a PSE swap is needed. Labor should be an hour or less. Since you intend to use Bluetooth only, no need to upgrade compensator.

You can get a PSE and Cradle from Ebay. There is a gentleman who sells them on Ebay for $150.00. You can easily put them both in. Also you might already have the Autosensing PSE. You need to check in the trunk and see what model PSE you have. If you have any questions email me directly and I'll walk you through it. You shouldn't spend anymore than $450.00 for cradle, PSE, Bluetooth PUCK.

They are both the same. Doesn't matter which one. But you need to make sure you have the right PSE. It will have a blue label on it.
