New louder horn

Am I the only crazy person who wants a louder horn? That's one of the first things I did to my Rav4 before I got the c230k. It was easy to install and I picked one up from Kragen for about $17 apiece. I have since forgotten which brand I used.

Curious what others have done or have heard about.

Air horns?
Hella Dual Horns?
Black Stebel Nautilus?
PIAA Sports Super Loud?
Wolo Full Blast Extra Loud?
Viking Horns? Compact Loud 139 Decibles Air Horn

These guys make their stuff in a town not far from where I live. I must admit that when some turkey with his 3000 watts, windows down, and trunk rattling while he destroys his hearing and tries to do the same to mine pulls up near me in traffic, I consider these.

But they have startled some folks into near-accidents. There is a YouTube demo on the site.

yeah i seen it a while ago which is why i remembered this when the post came up. I thought it was pretty funny, than I thought if those fools did that to me or my wife i'd go postal

Yeah, i've heard of those guys. I'm not up for spending $250-450 on a horn setup though. I'm thinking more in the range of $30-45 which is what I posted in the initial question in the thread. Anyone with experiences with those models?

Yes, I'm looking for a louder horn simply b/c ours sucks. Just like the Rav4 I used to have or any other car, the horns are just way too weak. If people ignore it, it's not loud enough.

B/c that's crappier than the one I already have. That one is not only used (not that I mind used things. Most things I have are used), but it's a stock part with same db as the OEM one. I'm looking for something louder.

The reason I do NOT use it is b/c it's not loud ENOUGH. The current "toot toot" just doesn't do it for me.

your horns may be faulty, i have seen that happen, inside my C230 the horns do sound very crappy, but outside is a different story, very loud indeed, actually one of my co workers installed horns from a C230 on his car because they were so loud, you might compare yours to anoter one, or have someone honk them while you are outside the car
