installing aftermarket stereo, need instructions for E Class w210
Just check for the two slotted holes on the bottom 2 corners.
Yes, my stereo does have the 2 slots. I cant believe its that easy to remove it. Is this all I need to remove to install an aftermarket stereo? Does anyone sell adapters to connect to aftermarket stereo?

As for harnesses, I'm not sure about the antenna, but I belive a VW stereo harness is the same and compatible with MB.
As for the amp, i'm not sure about the old models, but if it uses a digital amp, I'm not sure if you can do it. If you have a non-digital amp, then it might be easy.
Not too sure about this subject. However, I would suggest just using an aftermarket amp to run the headunit. Much cleaner sound, better output overall.

Harnesses are kind of tough, not knowing what kind of radio you want to install...
The only thing you'll need to custom wire is a remote turn on lead. I usually tap into the cigarette lighter postive terminal as that only gets power when the car is on.
