Hi everyone,

I'm having problems installing SKS211 into my european 2008 SLK 280 w/o keyless go. Would appreciate ANY hint or contact (sales@midcityengineering.com pointed me to a video of the activation procedure I already new and couldn't say more).

Here are the details of what I do after connecting the T-harness (there's a video of the following actions in case someone is interested):

• Turning the valet switch on: all 3 leds flash a couple of times and then stay on
• Starting the car with a key: the 'middle' led flashes 9 times and then stays off
• Running the engine for about a minute without errors on the dash
• Stopping the engine, removing the key
• Trying activation: 5 times to acc and back, then removing the key and pressing lock to activate the 'lock-unlock-lock' sequence for fobs without the panic button
  • No external lights flash here. sales@midcity said sometimes flashing may be absent
• Trying lock-unlock-lock does nothing

Any hint or idea? Any reference on the led codes? Any experience with SLK or SKS211? Please
