But if you have an Audio 20 CD head unit, this seems to be the necessary set.
But if you do have an Audio 20 CD, shouldn't you consider this other option and an NTG2.5 Comand:

The installation instructions should not be much more than finding the way to route the cable from the front to the trunk.

nope i am not from Germany but close enough
What i have is a US spec E500 with Audio50...i need to install aftertmarket HU and i am having a headache trying to figure out all the wires and the radio antenna and how to power it
any insight?

If you have a US Audio 50, you should have the AGW at the trunk, including the FM/AM tuner and the amplifier.
It is not straightforward to install any after market unit in this case. You would have to find a way to power the antenna amplifier and you would need to wired speakers from the front to the rear (where some would come back) and you would lose all devices on the fibre ring.

I dont care about all the devices at the fiberring!! the CDC, HU, Teleaid and phone devices are all going OUT
i am also aware of all the wires i need to run to the front and back
BUT
can you please help me out in figuring out a way to power the antenna amplifier?
i would REALLY appreciate it
