no radio after changing battery
2003 CLK 55
i had a dead battery, jumped it, got to the auto store, had the battery tested and found it to be bad. got a new one, installed it. great, car starts right up and i drive off. then i go to turn the radio back on and NOTHING. it won't turn on at all. on the COMAND unit, when you switch to the audio section, it would normally say "Audio Off," but now it just says "AUDIO ------"
i checked to make sure the fuse wasnt blown and it appears good. swapped it for another fuse just to make sure, and nothing. i guess, the next option is taking out the radio and checking to see if its even getting power.
i did read on the fuse diagram to follow the Owners Manual instructions for radio issues, but i searched up and down and found no instructions. am i missing something? do i need to reset it somehow?

Try http://www.carstereohelp.com/strmercedes.htm - there are removal instructions for many radios on the page. If not for your car, a Google search may get you more.
