Help in OBD buy
-Read the codes when the cars have problems.
-Reset the oil changes
-Read the temperature of the transmission in order to change the transmission fluid.
-Reset the instruments console of the W210, because at the first time, the car had a GPS, and with it you could change the hour that is close to the odometer. But now, there is no GPS, just a simple radio CD, and the console buttons for the hours don´t work properly, so the thing it´s to reset the instrument panel.
-Read the injectors to view the result when they are clean or not.
Which OBD do you recommend me? I don´t have an IBM, so I just want to use a normal laptop.
Thanks a lot

What is your budget? SDS works on several computers but I would recommend not using a virtual machine (which means only a few laptop brands have a hard drive readily installed).
I think that the Star C3 machines that people buy, there is no problem to do this staff.
Thanks

Works great running DAS/Xentry/WIS/EPC under Windows XP SP3 and has a true RS232 serial port for connection to the MUX.

D630 is one of the most popular laptops, hard drives with native SW installation are easily available for this as well as the IBM T30.
D630 probably runs a virtual machine decently too if you don't want to swap hard drives.
What is your connectivity concern?
Yes they are nrmal laptops, but people usually don´t have this laptops, there are so many brands. I want one OBD that could fit properly in the paltps I got.

A friendly advice- play a bit in emulation mode to learn the menus and what they do. You will most likely get a developer edition (most Chinese das are dev editions). Do not play in developers mode (it is mostly in German) or you can seriously damage (or brick) your car.
