Question Part numbers for w208 US Spec Comand Install

Can someone provide me with the part numbers for the wiring harness and other assorted goodies needed to install a US Spec Comand 2.0 in a 2001 W208 CLK-430? In addition to the cd changer in the trunk I also have teleaid, steering wheel w/controls and instrument cluster w/display.

Thanks in advance
RK

I already have a new US Comand 2.0, Part Number: A208 820 35 89/80

Thanks for the pictures,

Isnt there a wiring harness you can purchase from MB to make the install easier?

Oh well, I also put in a call the Steve, maybe he will sell me a custom harness and GPS antenna.

As far as I know there are no custom harness except the one you make yourself. When I bought the Euro Comand from Steve last year, he also include all necessary pins, plugs and instruction. This way you wouldn't have to run around looking for them. If you know how to install car stereo you can do this in your sleep.

Thanks John! I am in the process of sifting through all of the resources and creating a parts list to take to the dealer. I'll post it when completed so others can save some time.

I think I have all the numbers you need

Hi Kimber,

If you go to my website and look at the COMAND install page:

COMAND 2.0

Select the link for "Retrofitting COMAND to Mercedes Benz Vehicles" and all of the part number stuff is there. I am putting together all the part numbers for two others local to me for their '01 W208s. If you can wait until this weekend I can send you a copy as well ... but all the data you need is on the link if you just sort through it.
