2016 C450 Panoramic Sun Roof - Fully Closing Problem
Hello All,
I was looking for any information in regards to problems with the Panoramic Sun Roof on a 2016 C450. Recently, I have not been able to fully close the panoramic roof and I am not sure why.
When trying to close the roof the tilt function seems to be having an issue. The sun roof can fully open and close back and forth, but the Tilt function when trying to close only goes about 1/4 of what it needs to, so it can fully close. However, that front side of the sun roof does fully close. The weird thing about it is that when the 'Tilt option' is trying to fully close it hits like a stop and proceeds back . It does this about 2x until it decides it will go as low as it can and then proceeds to move the shade closed even though the sun roof didn't fully lower. Any information on this anyone may have would be helpful. I will be taken it to a shop soon to see what the issue can be as well.
Thanks
- Miguel

Look at this thread in the W205 sedan forum for a ton of information on the subject of the sub standard Pano Roof and it's failures... https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...f-failure.html and here https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ems-fixes.html
