No, there is no such thing. No Mercedes COMAND units have auxiliary inputs for an iPod. I'm sure if you searched in the forums here (the search box up at the top of the screen) you would see that no one ever hooks up iPods on these cars.

My keen sense of intuition tells me that scorchie is being sarcastic. That said, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me where the AUX input is on the new DVD COMAND found in the 2005 SL, or if it exists at all. I was told by a service liason at M-B that an AUX input may be part of the new UHI when it comes in. I will believe that when I see it... been waiting more than 2 months for my cell phone.

The USA will not get UHI for 2005. It's something that uses the same cradle interface, but the PSE is different. I've seen two names ... MHI and something like UHCI. But haven't heard about an aux input on it.

Any idea when the phone and interface will be available for the '05? I'm told I can have the old v60 now if I need it, but will have to wait if I want the new phone and interface.
