how can i watch Tv while driving
#6
This is not worth it -- especially in the US. In many areas if a police officer even suspects you of watching TV while you are operating your vehicle, you can face some pretty heavy fines. And if you ever get in a wreck and somebody gets hurt/killed, there are some places where they will try to push murder charges against you (most recent case being the one in Alaska).
Basically, it's not a wise thing to do. As a previous poster said, nobody will do this for you legally.

It is very probable that there would be greater support to adopting more conventional forms of driver distraction. Why not just focus all your attention on cellular telephone usage? Or, just ignore everything past the hood emblem, like another significant segment of the bad drivers. Or, just drink yourself blind, then get behind the wheel.
It is very likely that any of these alternative scenarios would result in you creating an equivalent threat, as compared to you watching TV and driving, to yourself and others.

Interesting...I guess it is OK to stare at your Video navigation screen which is just as distracting as any other Video signal on the screen....but not ok to have a dvd or something else playing for others to enjoy in the car. If you think about that it is pretty funny. They should have all of it locked out or none of it locked out. Plus if I had my TV unlocked I could watch the news while I eat and shave instead of reading the paper on the way to the office
