I heard the super promo rates (lease factors) are gone and residuals are up...making it a double whammy, at least on the E55.

Isn't residuals going up a good thing? Doesn't that mean that the car is worth more at the end of the lease so the depreciation is less which means lower payments?

I meant down. My understanding is that the residuals are down about 1%, and the lease factor on the E55s has more than tripled. Wow.

One of my employee's wife works at a local MB dealer and she said that lease rates are up and residuals down. You're right, the double whammy effect.

Ouch.
