Lease pricing comparisons

Anyone interested in a thread dedicated to detailing their 2017-2018 lease negotiation results.
I'm fishing to see if I struck a good deal or not.
If interested please share your deals.

In March 2017 I finalized my lease fore a 2017 E43 AMG
36 mo
5k down
10k miles per year
762 a mo incl tax
The car I built on the Benz website came in at 82k msrp, however the dealer worked around the packages I added with discounts, etc, and I believe the ultimate price was 78k.
I can get more specific if anyone's interested.

If we share this info it will help whoever is currently shopping

Thanks

Please explain this to me, I will very soon be in the market for an e63 s, and I expect my final msrp to be around 120k, so that is about 1.5 times the price of an e43. OP gets a 36 month lease (perfect term but I would need 15k miles a year) and only 5k down, so why couldn't I get 1.5 times the monthly he got so that would be around 1150 for the e63 s, instead from the research I have done, I am looking at least 1500

According to my calculations -- I'll spare you the details of how I arrived here -- I came up with this:

8-10k down (I'd go as high as 10k bc Mercedes is likely producing less E63's than they are E43's).
36 Months
10k miles per year (do you need 15k? If you're planning on keeping the car for the entire 36 mos, yes. But if you utilize their customer loyalty program and roll into a your next lease early, you'll only be in the car for 30-31 months which gives you some latitude on how many miles you actually need)
$1,100 monthly payment

*keep in mind that your current build is 120k, but your dealer can apply discounts to get you anywhere from 4-10%.

Hope this helps and be sure to come back and post your final numbers after you make your deal.
Good luck!

You know...I didn't write down the residual and it's not on the 1 page purchase agreement I signed when I left my deposit (I think it was in the 50's). I'll have all of my paperwork once I pick it up this Tuesday.
By MF I assume you mean interest rate -- again, I didn't write it down but I'll get it on Tues. My credit score is 826 so it's safe to say I wasn't hit with anything out of the ordinary regarding interest rates -- I will look closer on Tues. Funny -- when the finance guy called me last week to tell me the credit app was approved, he told me my score was 826. I immediately said "well then my rate should be lower", not even remembering what the rate was. He said "come on, I have to make a little money here".
As far as giving out my sales guy's info, I think it's fair if I ask the guy first, which I will surely do on Tuesday. A lot of factors an nuance go in to negotiating the best possible lease -- for instance, in my situation, I leased 3 in a row with dealer A. When I went for my 4th (the E43) dealer A couldn't get me below 800 a mo w/7k down. They dug their heels in. So I googled Mercedes dealerships within 400 miles of my location and chose 5 or 6 dealerships to approach with the same exact build. It turns out that the dealership closest to dealership A gave me the deal I was looking for. So the fact that my new dealer was in direct competition with dealer A factored in. I'll never know if the other dealerships I approached would have done better or worse because I stopped negotiating with them once the new dealer started to come close to what I wanted numbers-wise and their location is more convenient.

I've never been in the car business -- in fact, my line of work isn't even close. But I just love negotiating leases. I just did my wife's 2017 BMW X5 which is LOADED - 4k down, 36 mo, 10k miles per year, 620 per mo incl tax + tire & wheel protection + free service (on the E43 I also got T&W + free service wrapped into the 762 tax incl payment). If I could make some money negotiating 3-6 leases per mo on behalf of buyers (I'm really only interested in Benz's, BMW, Porsche and a couple of the luxury cars), I'd definitely do it!

I'll get you more info on Tuesday!

**I know free service is a given, but tire & wheel isn't. And with the Mercedes low profile tires, you're very susceptible to flats caused by even the smallest potholes.

To edit my initial response -- I was mistaken about 4-6% off the msrp. You can get as high as 10% off. Something to keep in mind.

Can I PM you? I'm negotiating my first lease with MB (potential BMW convert) and there seems to be a large spread in their figures I just don't know where. This is what they are offering me:
2018 E400 with European Delivery, negotiated price $64,800 with taxes of $2,960 (8.25% on use) and Fees $397
10k miles per year with a 36 month lease; Purchase option $43,350:
Cash Due at inception $1,027; and monthly lease payment including taxes and fees = $1,027
or
Cash Due at inception $5,000; $901 per month.

Any help is appreaciated
