Does anyone know if the sidemarkers for the coupe are the same as the sedan? I hate the orange front and want to swap for clear, but no idea if any exist for the coupe!

 

Yea I hate the orange parking light too, I just wish the was a way to cleanly remove the thing altogether.

None are made specifically for the c250/c350 coupes yet, as it is such a new model. However, the new design looks very similar to a w212/w211 (new e-class) styled sidemarker. Perhaps these would work:

Thanks for the Reply jctevere, looking at it, its seems they look the same but the upper part corner left that the coupe is rounded, and the E-Class is sharper, ill try calling my service adviser and doulble check if they are the same i might be wrong and your right. thanks for helping... if not then i guess ill just wait till they make one for the coupe.

 

They are not the same. However I prefer color matched to clear. Take them off and paint them your body color. Use the best paints and clears you can. We do it all the time.

 

I asked the parts guy at the dealer to check. Visually they look exactly the same outside the body, even same as 2011's. It looks like everything in front of the A-pillar is the same on 2012 coupe & sedans.

 

Um, the sidemarkers on the 2012 w204 are much different than the 2011's, only the C63 retains the same sidemarkers.

However,thinking out loud, while the exact shape of the lens on the E-class is a bit different, I would bet that the actual housing behind it (the way it secures and the size of it) is probably nearly identical to the 2012's... Perhaps it would be worth giving it a shot...? It could be a while before 2012 sidemarkers roll around...

There's a supplier on ebay of clear lenses, he indicated they are currently working on ones for the 2012 C coupe. He said none of his other versions fit our car.

Did he by any chance test fit them on a C63 Coupe. Because either that listing is EXTREMELY inaccurate with its information and pictures, or that is still the same old sidemarker on the 2008-2011 w204 sedan. The closest thing I have found to sidemarkers for our vehicle are the ones for the E-Class coupe. But I have tried to fit those and they were too skinny/narrow. I have yet to find sidemarkers that will fit for the 2012 coupes (c250+C350), but I keep checking. I keep C63 separate because they still have the old sidemarker style

 

~ no luck on clear markers for the c coupe as of yet...

therefore i just ordered 3 oem orange sets (r & l) and i'm going to have them professionally painted white to match the car. if they have to get the paint gun out, i mine as well make it worth the time and have a couple extra sets just in case.

i will post pics once i get them back... (most likely even before i take delivery of the car on the 29th).

Bought mine on Ebay about 6 months ago for $50/pr. Had them installed on my 2013 & 2014 C Coupes. Easy installation.

 

How did yours fit? You happy with them?

I ordered some from ebay too and they not only had a crappy looking glue line, but didn't fit the curvature of the bumper very well at all. I'm too particular and knowing they didn't fit flush would have driven me nuts. I took some pics to back up my claim to ebay in the event the seller pushed back, but they never did. Seller was easy to work with.

 

Have installed single bar SL type grill and clear front marker lights. Fit on both mods is very good.
