20" Wheels & Tires

I just purchased a C250 the last weekend. My car came with 18" AMG wheels and Pirelli tires but I want to put 20" wheels and tires on it. Can anyone tell me what size tires will fit I've looked on the Tire Rack website and 20's are not mentioned.

I wouldn't suggest this modification simply because of lot of extra weight on each tire your car would need to rotate.

You will be fine with 20's
you'll probably just need to roll your fenders if you lower it, which is suggested because you don't want to have the ''suv'' look with 20s

For 20's your optimal fitments are:

235/30R20 on 20x8.5 Fronts
275/25R20 on 20x10 Rears

19" is optimal for biggest tire, but if you don't mind the 25/30 profile ride quality, then to each his own.

I wouldn't put 20's on a C class....maybe 19's at most but 20's are way too big IMO

Yeah, I agree. 19's with some low pro's and lowered would be perfect.

I'm picking up my custom 19's tomorrow and just ordered my tires:

ForgeStar F14 19x8.5 Front + 19x10 Rear
Wrapped in Nitto INVO 235/35R19 Front + 265/30R19 Rear

Ordered KW V1's, will have them on soon.

btw if you put on the 20s, let's see some pix!

Just curious why did you go with non-staggered? No rubbing issues in the front with 255 width? You're running very wide in the front and a bit narrow for that, and on top of that, your overall diameter is very much outside recommended limits. Stock overall diameter for rear 245/40/17 is ~24.69" whereas 255/30/20 is ~26.19", so your speedo will be way off. But it looks great! Love the wheels.

+1, these rims are huge for this car. Besides it must be slower car that 17/18 inch since heavier rotation weight. It is also additional duty on brakes and they might be not as efficient as they suppose to be and pads will go away quiker.

19 inch is max for this car!

BTW I like bumper lip and I would buy same ....

It now needs larger brakes Tiger... those look dinky inside those 20" wheels... come on man... you know that!

Try these.... I just put a set on my car.

It is for sure wrong brakes for his 20 inch rims or rims are wrong for this car.
Also interesting that someone could make decision what brakes to use by their look ...

You talking to me? Didn't I just say "I put a set on my car"?... or are you saying that since his stock OEM brakes now "look" dinky in those wheels, that that would urge someone to "make a decision" to buy different brakes? Yes... cars are fashion statements... it all about looks, unless you race of course, like I do.... then it's about both!

Interesting, do you think driving around would be safe if MB or your Nissan would install brakes based on "look and fashion" but not on technical requirements and mechanical calculations? Brakes are normally for braking ...

Your post is based on the assumption that most people buy cars and accessories based on their looks, and that would be correct. You're assumption that I buy cars and accessories based only on their looks is incorrect. In fact, my team was instrumental in the development of this caliper. Please read my post again... that when you race, it's about both, looks and performance.

That's me, 4th from the left...

My assumption is based on what you said, I would understand if you suggested better brakes on something like 40% heavier tires will require 20% larger brakes. That would sound technical and more mature than looks. Looks are #10 for brakes ... Race? I use to race karting in 1975-78, would you mind telling me where you race that years?

Wow... are you ok? There's no fight here... I don't get technical on a C-Coupe forum, unless it's the C-6.3 AMG BE Coupe. If you should know, (as if it matters) my first race was at Lime Rock back in the 1972 Corvette series.

Interesting, you are driving ugly gt-r and not technical on anything but c63. Why are you posting here? Or maybe you are posting any place, when do you race than? Who is fighting?

It is beast for sure, 2.9/0 to 60. However who need this speed on Datsun? I see no difference between "look" of Sentra and Gt-R, made by same designer for sure. This car should not cost as much just because it is fast.

Me and Dan... We both know how wonderful the hand built GT-R really is. I recommend you lighten up some and chill if you wish to last here.

Merry Christmas

Sure, I forget that you are making decision here who will stay or who will go.
Happy Hanukkah!

BTW, Maybe you will like another Nissan pretty hand build in your garage? I could see same lines as in your gtr ....
