Hey CoupeDeta, nice pics. Did you take that last dark gray with lighting package at Penske? I think you got the last c250 with those options in SoCal. I was originally going to get that one last Friday, but found a silver one with the same options at the last moment from another dealer:
I think it was 2 weeks ago on monday i looked at the car in person and i was sure that i wanted this car. Unfortunately my sales rep (the only sales rep that i would make deal with) wasn't there. So the next day i came back, but the car was gone. I was Bumped with the fact that it was the only one with lighting package. Long story short some other sales rep that wanted to sell this particular car, took it off the showroom department, and tried to hide it at the service department across the street AND he took it out of the dealer stock list. I was lucky, we went on a hunt for it and found it hiding on the back of many other cars at the service department.
Anyway, nice interior...i like the white, but i know i will get it dirty very quickly. If you were the one that was about to get it im sorry..LOL

Thanks Glyn - Didn't know you were a moderator!!
More pics coming of both my C250 coupes later. Also, I am nearly done creating the content for the interior lighting mod DIY, hopefully, once I get that filled in, we can get the DIY thread stickied.
Glyn, is it best to create separate threads and then have the link to each DIY thread in one stickied thread (so we don't have a million stickied threads for every DIY). And if so, is it possible to allow infinite edits on such a thread, so that the original post can be consistently updated with new DIY content links?

Johnand & I are working on a Wiki at the moment that might solve many of these issues. With a Wiki however, we are still contemplating how to allow editing & by whom. There is a fair amount of misinformation posted daily that we don't want in a Wiki. A Wiki has to be a trusted resource where just as one example "torque specs are accurate".

How do you like the 20's? I had 35's that I thought were perfect on my previous arctic white w204 sedan. But now that I have tan interior and headliner, instead of black, I was thinking maybe 35's would be too light?
In the photo, it looks like you are looking at a mirror, which I don't like. I like to have some depth, be able to see in, see shadows and stuff but not be able to make out 100% who is inside. But the picture shows overcast/dark sky, so maybe the picture is a bit unfair. What do you think?

The picture is a bit unjust, and with a cell phone. I like it darker personally, I don't want people to see me at all. 35 would be a good compromise though, it should give you the depth you are looking for with just a silhouette showing of who/what is inside.

O maann...i think i might have stole it from you LOL....here's the story, i have been on the look for this particular car. I got the Stock number and it was the only one C250 at penske with the lighting package. I knew i wanted it and i wasn't going to settle for the regular headlight.

The AMG package option adds the choice of the flat 7 spoke and 786 AMG designs.
In real life those wheels above look very nice on the C coupe

Here are a few snaps of my tints and tinted tail lights:
Did 35% all the way around, and did a "light" lamin-x tint on the tail lights, had the installer cut out around the reverse lights/turn signals as per my preference of look:
Here is few quick snap of the led reverse lights from AZNOptics:
The tinted tailights are not as dark as they appear in the pictures. It is more of a "dark cherry" - I will try to get a better picture with my canon DSLR later...
