Canada red leather s more brown. It looks awesome in the brochure but in real life it is more of a redish brown than anything. I didn't know there was a difference in colours between Canada and USA. I have noticed that a few members posted interiors that look more redish than what I saw at my dealer, but I figured that it was lighting.
Ok I guess it is the same. False alarm.

I really like white on most of the car, but the hood just looks so flat and dull on non C63 models. I find that the white colour makes the center line less visible. In order to make the C63 hood stand out MB carried out a bit of a misjustice towards C250 and C350 hood.

This is not my car nor pictures taken by me. These guys are local in the bay area so I wanted to share. I do not have any information about this car so don't ask me because I will not be able to answer. Going to go to these guys after I get my funds for air suspension.
If you want to follow their project, follow them on facebook.com/likestancelab
The car:

Believe it or not the biggest problem with maintenance has been the SL it just went through 2 and a half months at the shop, everything was either on the verge of breaking or broken and getting parts for it was a nightmare.

I would imagine if you drove the 360 more often then you'd be seeing some problems. That car was notorious for catching fire. It was a dream car of mine at one point, I remember when it came out and I got my first issue of Road&Track and the lines on that car were insane, I completely idolized the Modena.

I just did the taillights and sidemarkers not the headlights and I honestly don't know the %, the guy that does my body work told me he would take care of how dark they would be

I decided against tinting my tail lights but just sent side markers to be paint matched!

2012 C250 Coupe
Yeah, the R230 SL (especially earlier ones) has a ton of issues, unfortunately. Good thing my father and I are very capable of performing repairs. We had the plastic clip in the shifter break, causing the car to be stuck in park, two struts fail, causing oil to go everywhere, and the car barely has 30,000 miles on it...
For the shifter issue, the dealer wanted $1,500 to replace. Me and my father fixed it for free, simply removed the broken part (since it would probably break again - design flaw). Only negative side is you can take the car out of park without your foot on the brake.
As for the strut issue, the dealer wanted $1,000 for the strut, $500 in labor to replace it, and you need a complete fluid drain from factory and rodeo each time for $200, brining it to $1,700 + tax for each one.
We found a OEM refurbished strut with a lifetime warranty for a steal compared to factory (I want to say like $300 or something...). Replace the strut ourselves for maybe 2 hours of labor, and didn't even need to flush the system. Everything was fine, so it was like $400 out the door after all parts and a little extra fluid for each strut replacement.
