pics of mud flaps splash guard
Anyone have pics of mud flaps (aka splash guards) on our coupes? I'm always driving through water puddles everyday from a neighbor's sprinkler overflowing on the streets...

I am pretty sure that the rear bumper fasica is the same down low like that. So it should be the same as sedans pre-facelift. For which there are tons of pictures. The mudguards themselves are ugly. But when they are painted to match the body color, they look great. I also am a fan on the rear wheel "fins" that are CF, which some people have also painted.

Come someone post up pics of these stone protection solutions, I'm interested in providing some sort of protection from having the whole lower side skirt sills scratched and chipped up over time

2012 c250 sport sedan
I have a facelift c250 sport sedan, I got mudflaps from the UK, seller said that they only fit 2007-2010 sport but they fitted 2012 perfectly, I got them back from the painter today and will post pics after I re-install them this weekend.
Probably worth making a paper template of coupe wheel arches and comparing to sedan to see if they will fit.
If you like the pics when I post them, I can send you a link to the UK seller.

There is another thread on the topic where someone's tried to buy a set but that supplier seems to have disappeared

2013 C250 COUPE
I ordered a painted set on Tues and arrived on Friday of the same week..that was Fast!
includes all the hardware and instructions..took about an hour or so..
you do have to take off the tires to install.
Paint color matches perfect..pleasantly surprised that the inside tire well portion is masked out to keep it black. I was planning on plastic dip the tire side. but no need.
cost about $185 shipped to the US. they take PayPal Now.

To those that have installed this already - what did you do with that plastic piece attached to the rear guards that sticks up from the lower aspect?
I tried seeing how they would fit today and it seems that the rear guards are a bit long on the bottom end. Did anyone else notice this?

I think the length is ok.. to cover the width of the stock tires..

Will order a set for myself and install them for long trips, (off for the rest of the time) that's where most of the damage is caused from debris being thrown onto the car by the wheels.
I've noticed plenty of scuffs and pits to the paintwork beneath the lower trims after 18 months and nearly 28,000 travelled kms in my coupe, luckily it's not readily visible unless you put your head under there.
These should prevent it from getting any worse.

I was able to install the fronts but the rears don't fit well at all. I spoke with Hitech and they said these were for the AMG sport version. Has anyone installed it on their coupe without sports package with success? Their site is confusing - to get to the coupe model you have to go through the pre-facelift sedan first to select the option.

Thanks for the heads up Madmunky1, was wondering why some people were complaining about the fit of these now we know the reason.
Luckily for myself I should have no probs since I do have the AMG sports package, when I eventually get them I'll have to figure out a way to make the mounting easily removable for temporary fitment only

RZ-JEDI - I tried contacting them by e-mail twice, no answer. Want to make sure I am getting the correct part...I have 2012 C250 Sport sedan (Saloon to them).
This is what shows up in the cart:
Mercedes C Class W204 2007-10 Colour Matched Mud Flaps (Pre-Facelift, Sport)
Please Select Model Years (facelifted vehicles have modified bumper profiles)
2010+ Post Facelift Saloon
MB Paint Code (Please allow 4-6 weeks for Delivery)
Palladium Silver Metallic (792)
What worries me is the header says pre-facelift then the model year says post facelift. Don't want to make a $200 mistake.
Thanks,
John
