c250 owners with NO navigation
c250 owners with NO navigation
I pickup my car in a few days and had a couple questions...
I ordered my c250 with everything but navigation and now I'm kind of regretting it... I know having no navigation gives you a slightly smaller screen, but can the system still play dvds and still display sirius weather forecast as well as support the COMMAND internet enabled features?
Any help appreciated, thanks guys.

For well over $1000 yes, but it'll be very hard to find. Anyone have pics of the non-MM package screen? I was wondering when they'd start shipping 2012 models without COMAND in the US.
Does it have the memory card slot and USB port? Bluetooth streaming? Pandora support? Curious.

I am driving C350 coupe without navi and no regrets. My iphone 5S with free google maps is better than any navi and also faster on refresh, need $12 stand from Amazon and could play anything on much better quality screen. I would rather spend extra on some performance options, with todays data plans phones will destroy any gps devices on market, I am not even talking about playing spotify or pandora via bluetooth while on gps ...

Thank you for responding and I understand what you mean but I'm looking for anyone who has experienced installing navigation after buying the car.
Is it possible? How much did it cost? I have command in my car. There is a button for navigation and I would like to be able to push it and actually have navigation, not a fake out. Thanks

If it is bothering you go and ask dealer, it might be possible for another couple of grands. To me it is waste of $ for outdated technology on crappy looking screen. I would be fine if it is free included option only which it should first place.

Benz offers a Becker navigation retrofit for our cars. I do not know how much though. I have the COMAND system in my C350

I have a command on my coupe and a tomtom for my other car, the command is far behind the tomtom, really limited/closed system, the only good point of command is its ability to display info on the tachometer and it works while in tunnels, but that's almost all...
A friend has a becker, more friendly as you can update the unit with your computer via usb cable, to update the command you need to go to mercedes garage, just ridiculous.

Necro-post. My 2015 doesn't have navigation but I could have it activated for something like 1k USD. Every review I've seen of it and even the salesman who sold me the car said it wasn't worth it. I have a holder for my phone and use google maps. Can use that saved money for rims and springs.
