C250 4Matic 2011
2011 - C250 4Matic faster then a C300 after ECU Flash

Just got my ECU flashed yesterday thanks to WWW.EUROCHARGED.CA (Give Mike or Barry a call) getting much more pickup and responsive.

Stock my car goes 0-60 in 9.5 second now it's around 8 seconds. (Not bad for only 500 dollar investment) vs $5000 to upgrade to a C300 (now that they have the ECU file the can flash it very quickly)

Also when in manual mode it really holds the revs alot longer and doesn't skip from 1st to 3rd when flooring it.

FYI - The C-Class 250/300/350 share the same engine M272 (Canada)
Difference is with the Bore and Stroke specs:

The E25 is a 2.5 L (2496 cc) version. Bore dimension is 88 mm and stroke is 68.4 mm. Output is 204 PS (201 hp/150 kW) at 6100 rpm with 181 ft·lbf (245 N·m) of torque at 2900-5500 rpm.

The E30 is a 3.0 L (2996 cc) version. Bore is 88 mm and stroke is up to 82 mm. Output is 231 PS (228 hp/170 kW) at 6000 rpm with 221 ft·lbf (300 N·m) of torque at 2500-5000 rpm.

The E35 is a 3.5 L (3498 cc) version. Bore dimension is 92.6 mm and stroke is 86 mm. Output is 272 PS (268 hp/200 kW) at 6000 rpm with 258 ft·lbf (350 N·m) of torque at 3500 rpm

Then they don't share the same engine, but rather same block. The engine is the block/crank/pistons/heads. Displacement is a measure of engine piston travel volume... If the displacement doesn't match and the block isn't identical then its certainly not the same engine.

But if you picked up 1.5seconds for $500 that's a good price.

the block might be different. the larger displacement block might have a taller deck height. i know this is true in the case of honda K-series engine.

Correct. I should've said that the block _may_ be the same. But in either case, the engine certainly isn't.
