Do the lights on the bottom of the doors light up?
in the middle of the doors when they are open, there is a red light facing in and a clear light on the bottom. I have yet to see these light up. this is NOT the reflector on the inside portion of the door when open under the latching mechanism.
Does anyone else have a US car that these work on?
Do I have something not enabled?
Thanks

AFAIK they should work on all markets.
Check and see if your interior lights (including the red one in the bootlid) are working or not as the system setting/s for those should also include all other courtesy lights.
If they're all not working you need to get into the system and activate them, it's in the owners manual

The red/white combo light in the trunk lid works fine. The same lights in the doors remain off and I can't seem to figure out why. Ill check the lighting configuration menu.
Thanks

hi, i have c250 coupe 2011 amg package. And the light is not turning On also. I already check the bulb, its there and its not broken. I ask the dealer that i bought the car to check and they said it dont have any wire connected to the light.
I only think its optional from the mercedes.
Anybody can help me to find the correct wiring so it can turn on?

Interior illumination package. You should have this if your footwells light up, you have an orange glow from the rear vision mirror onto the gear stick, and the door handles and seat adjustment glow orange.
In oz this is standard on all except the c180 sedan.
