Driver seat and steering wheel problem
Just got in my car tonight and the driver seat and steering wheel don't move. the power has stopped working in both of them but passenger seat works fine. Hit the memory buttons it doesn't do anything. just curious if anyone else has had a similar problem so far?

Honda Civic
I had a dream about this a few nights ago where I wondered what would happen if the seat went hay-wire and started moving forward while driving. You would either crash or get squished.

Yeah, it just won't move and the steering wheel is in the exit position all the way up so it sucks. The seat and mirrors are fine, but I still can't adjust them. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to check fuses but the question is which ones?

Also just noticed the easy entry/exit says system inoperable and the seat won't move when I pull it forward to access the back seat.
Wonderful!!!

cl250 seat issue
I have same issue on my 2013 cl250, linked it to the car getting hot sitting outside, seat controls go inoperative on driver side only. When I disconnect the black wire link under the seat and plug it back in, it comes right back. Will advise if service fines anything.

Hi, did changing out the seat control module fit the problem. I have a 2014 mercedes glk 350 and the easy exit feature says System Imoperative and the steering wheel does not tilt when I put the key in the ignition and the drivers seat does not move forward or backwards. This happens every couple days when I let the suv sit outside in the heat all day. And than I have to wait till the next day for the easy exit feature to work like normal again. Also, have a long starting problem that I am not sure it is related... What did the dealer replace?

Fixing electrical problems
Just remember that vehicles like ours have about 50+ microprcessors in them. Even when you run a window up/down you are likely going through a "Black Box" somewhere or are multiplexing with other controls. I would guess that the new S series is over 100.
Without these black boxes there would be much fewer convenience and safety features. These are all potential problems. That's why "Techs" service your car.

2013 GLK 350 4 Matic - Entry/Exit Inoperable Error
I have had my MB for 3 months and had the same problem yesterday. I left the car outside in 85 degree heat for 3 straight days and nights while I road my scooter to and from work. I simply unplugged the black seat module underneath the seat and plugged it back in and everything went back to normal. It is still under warranty until January 2018 so if I have to have it replaced I will but for now all is well.

I have an E-350, and this happened to me for the first time in only 80 degree weather. I also have a C-300 and it never had this problem. The e class is 2014, and the c class is 2012. I wanna get this fixed before my dad takes it to work in the morning, because its stuck in my setting and my dad's is a lot different.

steering wheel and driver seat not moving on Mercedes ML 350, 2012
I had this problem last week. Called my extended warranty company, they referred me to their rep, who was obviously too busy to look at it for a few days and guessed by his experience that it wil be an electronic module and its not cheap and it will not be covered by extended warranty. Went to Mercedes dealership and they said it seems like Seat control module and they wanted to book me in for next week.
I did some reading and found a 30 Amps fuse blown in the panel under rear passenger seat, i think it was fuse number 127. there is chart in the fuse box explaining which fuse is for what circuit.
Replaced the fuse and Bingo.....everything is in working order. Hope I will be able to save someone some hassle and money. Means I was able to repair the car on a saturday for a couple of dollars.
Cheers!

I got a 2012 C250 COUPE and i had my driver seat controls not working 3 times before!
each time, it happend on a hot day, when i was cleaning my car.. So i would use my seat controls to move my seat. I have that easy entry system becuase it's a coupe, so you pull on the chair and it goes automatically.. so after cleaning my car, i noticed the chair wont move any way.. memory also dead.... i disconnected some wires underneath, but it didn't fix it... i disconnected the battery, still didn't fix it..
what fixed it, was taking out the FUSE in the hood fuse box for the seats...
i can't remember which fuse, but i took out 2 fuses that were for the seats... i put them back in, and it worked.
so this happend to me about 3 times , and each time the fuse fixed it.
