BMW went 2 weeks ago and I just the time to give the Merc a good clean and take some decent pictures.

Car is very very very nice. I am sorry I could not stay with BMW but the 3 series coupe does not compare with the new C Coupe in my opinion. It drives 95% as good as the 3 series as well which was a nice surprise.

Economy (in uk mpg) so far is 51mpg on a long run with CC at 75mph and overall 40.4 since I got it 2 weeks ago.

WOW! That looks really good! I'm extremely jealous! Its a shame that Merc no longer offer the C class with a 6 speed here in the US

The manual box on the c class is very, very good. Nicely weighted and very precise.
The car was an ex-mb management with 3k miles and I got an excellent deal partially because of the unusual manual box on a C250.

Congratulations, that is definitely a step up from the 120d - in fact it's a major step up even from a 123d

You people in the U.K are lucky also to have a choice on transmission, here in Aust. our vehicles are virtually exactly the same in spec to the U.K market, but we have auto only option on the trans.

7.0 seconds. Plenty fast for british roads

That's exactly the same advertised 0-100km/h (0-62mp/h) time for the 7G-Tronic auto in the same vehicle

According to the info I got is 7.0s for the manual and 7.1s for the auto on the UK spec cars.
