I'm from Canada, and I just built it for MBUSA.com
$41,505 with Sport Package, and no Lighting Package.
Is it $42 taxes in?
ps:
I also personally don't justify puting money $ on leases because you don't own the car, and at the end of the day if you decide not to buy it than you lose that $1, 000.
I've come to realize that fully loaded doesn't really mean anything anymore. You see advertisements for used vehicles that say "fully loaded" only to find out that they are missing many packages... Go figure.
Either way @$42,000 sticker, $500/month with $1,000 total out of pocket due at signing isn't a BAD deal, but it isn't fantastic.
Are you getting any MBUSA incentives (if there even are any right now?) such as loyalty, competitive, etc?
Also, the main thing in determing when is a good time to lease are two key numbers that most dealerships or salespeople never even mention. That is the residual value (the value the car is projected to keep at the end of the lease) of which, you pay the depreciation or the diference of the 100% purchase price - residual percentage.
The second number is the money factor, the hidden incentive MB has to push certain models certain months. Unless I'm mistaken, the lower the money factor the better, as you pay less interest expense.
Last but not least, find out what the actual selling price of the vehicle is. Many dealers sometimes simply charge MSRP which is -
