Hi

i was surfing on ebay, and saw this amazing vents for c63 amg. I have asked the seller if they are compatible with c250 c with amg bumper. He has no idea, he says they fit on c63 amg bumper but has no clue about c250 .it is just for visual because there is no vent at my bumper.

if you have an idea, please share it.

You bought a c250 not a c350 or a c63 why make low end model look like the higher end models. Putting c63,c350 stuff on a c250 would be embarrassing when going to the dealer for service or when a real c63 pulls up next to you. Find something more unique for your car.

I dont get people on this forum. Each to their own. His car his taste his money his choice.

I dont recall the OP asking for opinions, so if you cant add any value to the topic I suggest you keep your 2 cents to yourselves.

On the topic of the vents I dont think they will fit as I beleive the vents are made for the C63 bumper which differs from what you have.

it is easy to say , but i don't live in us, germany or uk.we pay a lot of taxes in our country , more than the price of car. i have paid 80.000 $ just for c250 coupe . it is hard to see real c63, i guess not more than 10 c63 available in our country.
Check the link and see the price of c63 amg. With that money you can buy nissan gtr, even ferrari in your country but we can not.
So is it false to make it look like c63 , i am sorry.

Thanks four your answers Andrew and blinks

As long as you don't change the label to C63 AMG anything goes!!

I painted my grill/bumper to make it look more "AMG" style, and I also bought the C63 rims

I agree especially in the case of the C63 but it's always a case of each to their own, let them do whatever they wish to do at the end of the day it's their vehicle, their choice, their money

Also not sure about all World markets but here in Aust. the C250 and C350 are or can be equipped exactly the same as each other, the only difference is the engine and the C350 has twin exhaust tips on the rear everything else is the same, so there's hardly any difference in external or interior looks from one to the other - C63 different story of course

Not the case for Aust. vehicles as mentioned in my earlier post.

If fully optioned/equipped "Everything" is the same including brakes except for aforementioned engine and twin exhaust tips at rear between C250 petrol or diesel and C350 Coupes, in fact the C250 AMG 'performance plus' options package comes with even bigger brakes again

It would seem from the threads I'm reading that the C250's are basic spec in the U.S compared to alot of other markets ??

There's also a good point mentioned above regarding cost, vehicles are not cheap in alot of Countries like they are in the U.S a fully loaded C250 CDI like mine costs over $100k AUD which is around par with the US dollar ATM, a loaded C63 is the better part of $200k AUD, there's not alot of difference in cost here between a fully loaded C250 and C350, comes down again to personal preference, for myself the C250 diesel is the perfect choice for the C Coupes range, again each to their own.
