Wow everybody has had a different experience here. As said before if you use a system that's been specifically R&D'd for the application you won't have anything to worry about !!!
I got mine done as stated above 2 weeks ago now and it's all positive and better in every way compared to the stock single outlet OEM system, it now has more power, more torque, more response and less exhaust noise which is exactly what I wanted, couldn't be happier
Hopefully with your guy as he's experienced you'll get a good result as well, let us know how it all turns out
