Does anyone think that this is pretty good for a stock exhaust or they could've done better.

They sound great, IMO. Inside the cabin, I just wish it was a tad bit louder. Thought about straight piping--not sure if the sound is created by the muffler though?

I think the exhaust sound is excellent, especially, compared to sound of the stock exhausts of BMW 328i and Audi A4 1.8 TFSI, for example.

I remember BMW had a performance package on the last e90 model which sounded a lot louder than this

It's the straight pipe. Did it on mine but switched to a quad exhaust setup at the same time while i'm at it. Sounds A LOT more aggressive.

I don't know what this package is but a friend of mine has got 328i F90. He said my exhaust sounded great, he also said there was a growl/fart between the gears and as a whole admitted it was better than the BMW.

was your friend following you when he heard the growl/fart sounds? I think in this video you can hear those sounds. The exhaust sounds way more aggresive in this video.

I think that first video over emphasises the stock exhaust tbh...

I mean its a littl louder than stock, but not much.

You really get it for the Golf GTI/R DSG style upshifts, even at relatively low RPM.

Yes, he was following me and you can hear the grown when shifting up in higher revs in the video you posted as well. Actually, I think the real sound of the exhaust can be observed only when the car is in motion with your foot on the throttle The sport plus exhaust is a little more aggressive but the stock one is good as well.
