How to remove carpet? (driver's side)
Could anyone post some tips on how to remove the driver's side carpet? I'm trying to access the CAN bus conduits and hubs under it.
The carpet is really solid, it doesn't seem to bend, and when I tried to bend it a little to get it off I damaged/broke the block of thick felt sound-deadening material that's attached to the bottom of it.
I'm afraid if I keep tugging at the carpet and bending it I will leave permanent bend-marks on it, since it's not very flexible at all.
Anyone tried this before?

That worked! Thanks! I didn't have to remove all of the carpet so I just removed the door sill trim and was able to lift the carpet up to access the CAN conduit by unhooking it from the center console/transmission tunnel. Didn't have to remove the pedal.
Appreciate the help.
