Thoughts on my upgrades?

So I was looking at what car I might get and I concluded it would be a C250 Coupe (Sport most likely).

The car is coming stocking so I was planning on adding the following upgrades:

X-Pipe
Amazon.com: Magnaflow 10790 Tru - X Stainless Steel 2.25" Exhaust Pipe: Automotive Amazon.com: Magnaflow 10790 Tru - X Stainless Steel 2.25" Exhaust Pipe: Automotive

Quad Exhaust w/ new diffuser
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Combo-Mercedes-Benz-W204-Exhaust-Tip-Pipe-Double-Carbon-Rear-Diffuser-C63-/321201408485?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac91889e5&vxp=mtr

K&N Intake
Amazon.com: K&N RU-5111 Universal Rubber Filter: Automotive Amazon.com: K&N RU-5111 Universal Rubber Filter: Automotive

Smoke Out Rear Lights

18 Inch Rims (Suggestions on where to Buy)

So my question with all of this is, what are your thoughts on what I put together and are there better prices for any of the things I have listed above? Last, if anyone can put a guess on it, how much would labor run me for all the things above assuming I get all the parts?

Thanks in advance!

Because I'm craving the turbo the 250 has and the price difference in my area for the two is considerable enough for me not to get the 350 and mod the 250.

Look into the JB+ tune on burgertuning.com along with the intake they offer.

I might get the tune but I went with the k&n intake due to the rubbing problem burger has

Same boring upgrades every other 250 owner does dont forget to debage it after the dual exhaust so it looks like something its not.

I would think twice about putting thousands of dollars into it with items that dont do anything for it. Bottom line its just a 200hp car just buy some nice wheels and enjoy it. Forget those annoying sounding exhaust.

But if you didnt buy it take you upgrade money and find a used C350. Forget the low hp c250 car I drove one and the turbo lag just sucks.

Well unless the labor is thousands of dollars on the upgrades I mentioned above, it shouldn't be over a couple thousand with the wheels to have all those things installed. The price difference b/w a 250 and 350 is about 7-10k in my area which is why I'm leaning towards the c250.

On the intake you'll need our CNC machined adapter to fit the filter. We prefer the larger filter but if you prefer we can supply the BMS intake with the smaller RU-5111 filter for the same price. Just email us.

Forget the c250 this 4cyl turbo is being phased out by MB. Save your thousands in stupid c250 upgrades that make it sound like a honda civic and do nothing to make it any faster. Buy the c350 you have 300+hp to start with.

^Damn, harsh.. Explain why you are such a hater? 2nd post in a row.

There are pros and cons for the C250. Biggest pro is 31MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Second its a bit cheaper than the c350.
Third it has the AMG package with suede interior & red stitching.
And lastly there are mods to make it quicker.
When the boost kicks in, it feels oh so lovely. Turbo cars are AWESOME!

Cons:
Some people may not be content with the power but its not a track car.....its not a car thats going to be used for 1/4 mi. passes, it's a c250 for god sake, it doesn't have to have the power of a c63.

uhh thats it?

So what's your deal pal?

Didnt catch the first post. Just not a fan of turbo cars had a few 911s and one of the was a turbo and sold it after 6mths but this is a difficult car to master and different from any other turbo car.
The c250 it probably the worst one I ever drove its a death trap if you have to make a quick move on the parkway. My Audi a4 was better. I see lots of guy putting thousands into this 200hp car and nobody seem to get anything more out of it. So my point is for 4k more why not just buy a 300hp c350. Want mpg drive a VW diesel.

The C350 also has a Sport Package (what you call AMG Package). I average 25 mpg in town and 32-34 mpg on the highway with my C350. I does cost more than the C250, but the M276 engine is sweet!

It's economy mode that makes it feel that way. Cruising will land you at about 1,500RPM, but the car really starts picking up by 2,000RPM. Sport mode will always leave you at 2,200RPM which is great for pick up.

You're right, it may be a difficult car to drive if you are not use to driving turbo cars. My STI doesn't full boost until 4,200RPM and runs 11 sec 1/4 miles..imagine that? It's about being in the right gear and knowing how to drive the car.

Keep in mind that not every market has the C350 @ a minor incremental cost to the C250. In AU, Mercedes sell the C250 for $78k (+3k for the CDI) and the C350 for $108k. Also, the C350 has no diesel variant sold in AU. In my instance, I wanted a diesel and had no choice but to get the C250 CDI. Not to mention the stupidity in the Mercedes pricing with the C350 @ $30k more.
