The new C-Class was released yesterday
Oddly quiet on the forums. The embargo on the new C ended yesterday at 4:00 AM eastern standard time and there's no rush to show official photos from MBUSA.
The best selling car in the MB lineup, yet all is quiet on the forum front. No talk of the C400. The fact that it's longer, wider, has AIRMATIC, yet no one cares? We were going to release a late edition of the Southwest Star covering all the details, but there doesn't seem to be any interest.
No more airbrushed photos, camo'd cars, or faux deck lids. Real photos from MBUSA and a press release and no one is screaming "show me"? When the W204 was announced the C-Class faithful went bananas. Nothing this time around, eh?
Or is everyone someplace else staring at photos?

Idk about everybody else but to me it’s a big disappointment!This new c-class is one ugly car according to today’s standards. Don’t like the rear, especially taillights. Side view is plain, even though all pics on the web are with 18’’ amg wheels, while standard might be 17’s. Reminds me of recent Korean cars. I consider Mercedes as kings of auto industry, c-class shouldn’t really compete with 3 series BMW, but blow them away! With this new C, this is not happening. 3 series is more elegant and has aggressive look. I would even take VW CC fully loaded over this new C. Now I am talking only about exterior, nobody can touch Mercedes interior and comfort… Just my opinion.

I'm glad I purchased my 2013 Coupe when I did. The W205 reminds me of a Daewoo Leganza. Its the rear end/tail lights. I'm sure it will grow on me but I'm not feeling it right now.

My wife and I purchased a 2013 C300 4Matic in June because we didn't want a larger car. In addition the car was heavily discounted. With the new 3.5L direct injection engine we have all the car we need. Very happy in NC!!!
PS I drive a 2012 C350 Coupe, will check out the new coupe in 2-3 years to see if the new 6 cylinder turbo is worth a trade.
