BTW- How can you have such a great car and only have 9700 miles in 2 yrs? You need to drive that thing.
Do it.
Braking systems aren't indestructible. Parts, like the rubber in the valves in the master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinders deteriorate. All the nasty little bits that flake off end up in your brake fluid. Plus, the fluid itself can get old and worn out. Moisture can also get in the system. That leads to rust, which leads to more nasty bits in your brake fluid. All this adds up to a brake system with compromised effectiveness and decreased stopping power.

That way you will maintain intact warranty during your warranty period and intact full service history record when you eventually sell the car, I'm sure that any prospective future buyer of a s/h or used MB will want to have a vehicle that's been fully maintained/serviced.
Mine is also up for its B service next month and will be carried out by a MB workshop and will make sure that all listed service items in the manual are covered regardless of odometer reading which is currently at 34,000km (21,125 miles).
