Service maintanace cost

Just got charged $550 for service B + braking fluid flash replace by the NJ dealer, looks like too hight to me. And that is with 10% discount from MB club card.
How much are you paying for the same service? What will next service cost to me??? $1000???

Services are explained in the manual, next service will be A + additional maintenance, as I guess you have the M 272 engine in the C350 at 31kmile or 3 year you need to change oil+filter of 7g tronic.

C350 coupe has the M276 engine.

Service A and the service B are the base service, with additional maintenance required (either by mileage or years in service). The Brake flush is an example of additional maintenance required every 24 months. That was probably $150 of your invoice right there (fluid plus labor).

Is B service really required? Besides the oil change?

Honestly I don't think anything is required until 50k miles or higher besides oil change, but I want to keep service records clean.

If you got a B service and brake service for $550 don't feel bad. Sounds like a competitive price. By the way the tranny service is @39,000 mi.

Thx for your wheel info. See my new post re 2014 C350 Coupe. Solves the problem.

While I love my car I have to say that the high cost (and excessive items) of maintenance will probably mean I'll shop elsewhere for my next car. I ran into this same sort of thing with my Volvo but was able to work around it by only getting those things required for the Volvo warranty to be done.

I take care of my cars so I do the "other" inspection stuff on a regular basis.

I guess another option would be to buy the maintenance package which appears to save you money but still just hides the fact that you are being overcharged and charged for things that are not really needed.

I feel like I will get back to Infiniti or Acura, these charges for mostly "checks" is absurd. I wrote my notes in service survey I got from MB about.
