Anyone using an X pipe on their '12+ C350?
UPDATE and first impressions - Just had my Meisterschaft exhaust installed yesterday by GMP Performance in Charlotte. A photo link of the install process is below. For those thinking about doing this, be aware that Meisterschaft sells this exhaust to fit the sedan only (despite what Meisterschaft's (GT Haus') website says). Modification was needed to make it work with the coupe and that obviously equates to a more costly install (documented in the pictures) and yes, the tips were centered in the diffuser after the photos were shot ... The guys at GMP were professional and did a great job!

I don't have a video yet, but will post one soon. Here's my impression in the first 24 hours: Meisterschaft axle back system (stock resonator present):
At idle; very little difference in db level; almost sounds stock. Little louder on cold start and quiets down quickly with idle drop.
Normal driving; (i.e. stop and go traffic) noticeable difference in the cabin; not sure how I feel about it yet, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It’s not a “drone”, but it is quite a bit louder. I’m sure those in the back seat won’t be too keen on it (then again, no one really sits in the back seat anyways). I'm not outside to hear it, but I had a few people listen as I drove around the street and they said it sounds like a nice "tuned" exhaust.
Highway; whether you're cruising at 45 or 80, the cabin remains as quiet and comfortable as with the stock system. If you step on it, it comes alive inside and out.
I need to have a friend take it for a drive while I stand on the side of the road and listen. Until that happens, I can't give you my subjective opinion of how it sounds from the outside. I'm only going by what my son & friends have told me.
Keep in mind, I know a lot of others want loud (like C63 loud), but that's not what I was trying to achieve here. I like a stock look (that's why I did the single tips), wanted a little more grunt to the exhaust when I pressed down on my right foot and wanted the cabin to remain quiet when cruising on the highway. Although a little pricey, this checks all the boxes so far.
12/8/14 UPDATE: not the best quality and doesn't do it justice, but here's a short video. Couple of quick revs and takeoff

Thank you for the update. It sounds like you got what you were hoping to achieve adding the new exhaust.
I'm still on the fence. The tuned exhaust mine came stock with sounds pretty decent when I get on it, but very quiet when I'm not. Though maintains a little bit of a drone inside to it if I am manually shifting gears and not getting on the accelerator.
I'm going to think it over during this Winter while it's stored away and decide if I'm going to invest in this one, or wait it out. An option would be to order the 2016 C450 coupe when they are available with the upgraded V6. Tough decisions to come.
Appreciate you updating Us, I look forward to any more information you have to share on the modification. Great work!
