My Modded C-350 Coupe

Hello All,

I would like to share my progress as to what i have done to my coupe in a little less than two years of ownership. I must say that in stock form this car is great, but i just have a passion for modifying cars to my liking and with that said, i did just that. So far, the car has been great, but damn when the mod bug hits, it hits hard! lol. So, what i have done:

H & R Supersport springs with 5mm Rear shims. *** IMAGES ARE TAKEN OF CAR THE DAY THE SUSPENSION WAS INSTALLED; CAR SITS A BIT LOWER SINCE THE SPRINGS SETTLED IN***
Eurocharged ECU tune (333 HP & 303 Torque After Tune As Per Eurocharged).
Plasti Dipped All chrome now black.
Carbon Fiber front lip.

Now, ill just post some pictures:

Hope you enjoyed. Criticism is always welcomed of course

just found this thread from a random search, wanted to say that it looks incredible!! Now you need wheels!

Also quick question, I'm assuming you bolted the front lip on? Just wondering because I'm about to get the same CF lip for my car as well. I don't trust just 3M tape...but wanted to ask.

3M tape is great if your surface is complete clean from debris and oil, that's what your spoiler is attached with.

Right but on the front bumper, any possible accidental bumps or just driving at high speed...I'd be too nervous to just rely on 3M tape. Is that all you're using?

when I get mine, yes that is all I will. I'd rather it fall off than take the entire bumper or break one of the retainers. I see why bolting would be great, but I've seen to many things go wrong or look chincy after working in the automotive industry.

@Terminate- Thanks, i really appreciate the comments. As far as wheels i am keeping them stock. I just really love these wheels and how they look on the car being lowered. As far as the front lip goes, i used self tap in screws. Holds up great and as you can see not visible.

you nned a set of clear side markers. The orange detracts from the dark color o the paint.

Side markers are no longer orange, they're black now.

I imagine our cars run 14.1-14.2 stock, is that correct? So hopefully with that tune you will be around 13.8? Assuming a good launch/traction of course.

Well, i am a bit disappointed and not so much at the same time. The conditions were horrible. it reached 100 degrees and i know that definitely effected my times. The car was definitely more sluggish but no excuses. Any ways the best slip was with a 2.2 60ft @ 14.0 @ 99.96. Car had 1/4 tank of gas and weights 3810 with me included in the driver seat. I see absolutely no problem as to why i wouldn't hit a 13.7 on a cooler night with a better 60 ft. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in the tune as we have some more numbers. Ill be going back in approximately 2-3 months.

Those really are awful conditions, though it seems you did well despite that. I can definitely see 13.7-13.8 in your future. Nice work!

Thanks fellas. Like I said I'm not that disappointed, I know it will hit 13's with cooler temps. This car with the tune from a roll is just a different car and that's where she really shines. Like I said, no complaints and I'll definitely be back at the track in 2-3 months.

Hey Shaz, yea I agree nothing to be dissappointed about. It's actually good to know what the car runs at the most sluggish time of the year. The Fall season will have it be right where you expect it. Also, without a doubt the cars are much more tuned for the roll & go. I know the mid range from 70 - 120 on mine is crazy good, with a strong kick off on full throttle.

I'm certain of 13's for both our C350s come later Sept, Early Oct. Keep in mind the humidity on top of the air temp is brutal on the high compression N/A motors in these cars. I'll bet you run a 13.7 and myself a 13.8 -13.9 with air temps in the 60s and low dew point. Which is really good for the 3.5L 6 cyl.

Good work getting out there and running it! Let's do it again mid Fall.

Most definitely chris. Honesty, if you are down for a weekday or weekend in a few months we can both go together to a track that works for both of us. Just an idea you know. But yeah 14.0 at 100 as its most sluggish I'm not too mad. I know it will hit a 13.6-13.7 @ 102- 103 with cooler temps and a better 60'.
