Dash rattle

Hi,

Has anyone else experienced any dash rattles in the 2017 C300 coupe? I have one that sounds like it's coming from directly in front of me. It sounds like a loose nut rattling and is very annoying coming from a $61k car. The dealer has been unable to locate/resolve it.

Did you manage to resolve this issue and if so what was the problem?

I am experiencing exactly the same rattle with my 2016 C Class Coupe C220d (UK)

Hi, Unfortunately, it is not resolved yet. I took the cluster, left air vent and some trim off and thought I had found it being part of the HUD lens. I insulated that with felt tape, but it did not resolve the issue. I'm taking it back to the dealer next week to have them look at it again.

After taking it back in a couple more times, the dealer was finally able to find the issue. It was apparently something with the mirror in the HUD unit. They were able to stop the rattle but advised they were going to order a new HUD when they become available. So far their fix has held and I have not heard the rattle again.
