Passenger seat belt rattle in Cab with top down
When I have the top down and all the windows down the passenger side seat belt rattles against the side of the seat. Has anyone else noticed this? I tried moving the seat forward and back and it still does not help.

Absolutely a pain in the ***...my wife has a c43 cab and when I have the top down it drives me crazy...I have been thinking of a solution but have been stymied so far...would love to hear someone who has solved this problem. Otherwise, I really enjoy the occasional switch from my ride.

It doesn't have a magnet...and why should you have to reach across and buckle the vacant passenger seat every time the top is put down? Not exactly my cup of tea...but I have done it a couple times. Unfortunate oversight..

When I first read this I thought folks were talking about the front passenger seat belt.
I did notice the rear seat belts do make a noise at speed with the top down.
I just tucked the buckle into the side of the seat, it goes in part way but holds on tight.
It may not make for the best optics but it works and you can sort of balance the two.

I have the same problem with both the passenger and rear seats. No such problem was present in my 2014 E350 cabriolet. I keep the setbelts buckled in the other seats at all time to solve the problem.

I took my C43 cabriolet into Mercedes today and told them about the passenger seatbelt hitting against the door when the top was down. The service advisor acknowledged my issue and told me I can try applying Velcro otherwise, I have to continue belting the unoccupied seat to prevent the annoying noise.

My previous convertible was a '18 Mustang and it had a lot less wind turbulence when the windows were down than the Mercedes but when the windows are up it is a lot better than the Mustang. I have only had the C cabrio for a couple weeks but I buckle up the seat to keep it taunt so it doesn't flap around so much when the wind hits it. I used to do this with the Mustang as well.
My biggest issue with the C cabrio is the high pitch whistle when the top is down and I am going over 35 MPH.
