how reliable are they? obviously pricey to fix either way but are there a lot of notorious problems with these? im a 20 year old college student with no much time or money, but the black on black is a beautiful thing.
should i just go with a corolla or a civic, or would i be okay with the 280? its pushing 124,000 miles but is in great condition otherwise. interior is flawless, paint is pretty good.
only problem while test driving was that it idles VERY low, around 300rpm, so its a tad shaky.
what should i do?

When you buy an 11 year/124K mile car - major parts WILL wear out and you'll be paying long after the sale.
If you can't maintain it, or not feasible to restore, you can get a lot more Honda for $6000.
Good Luck!

My 4th grade teacher is selling her c280 or c230k... Ill check up more on it. Her daily commute is like 3 blocks so I am guessing low mileage and she drives like a grandma so its well taken care of. I'll get more info on it. I'll try and help her sell it.
