I have read and read all the tech's on shutting of the service light but it will not work for me for s@#t.
The only thing I think is different is that there are 2 wrenches instead of one.Could that be a different proceeder? 98 c280 Sport

1. get in the car and shut the door.
2. put the key in the ignition and turn it to position 2
3. tap the reset button twice to make it bring up the service due indicator
4. hold the reset button with one hand and with the other hand cycle the off and back to on.
5. after a few seconds it should reset.
you might also try this; when cycling the key off and holding the reset button, release the reset button and then quickly depress it again and hold it while cycling the key back to position 2
