Remus Supersprint or Other exhaust??
I have a 99 C230K and want to upgrade its muffler/exhaust.. I'm looking for something with square tips. i know that both Remus and Supersprint make mufflers for my car. I was wondering which of the two (or any other brand) would increase the performance the most, while giving me that low grumble sound. <---I don't want it to sound like a ricer!!!

I've had a Remus for about a year now, and would say it's not loud at all. Not much louder than stock, just deeper and more throaty... which is what I wanted. Definitely, not ricy at all!
I also ended up taking off the resonater (which surprisingly did not increase the sound much either) as it represented the most restrictive junction in my entire exhaust system.

As always, I'd simply suggest that you do some shopping around with various local & on-line vendors. I think you will want to steer clear of the dealerships, as unless it's an actual benz part their prices tend to be higher. If I am remebering correctly, I think I got mine for $450... or something like that.
